New, two-pump station developed for preventing floods such as those of September 2006, when the St-Charles River overflowed its banks. 

OUR ROLE

Pumpaction supplied ABS model AFP300 - ME520 submersible pumps for the station, in addition to self-priming Gorman-Rupp diesel pumps for temporary pumping.

With their static nitrile seals, the ABS products installed guarantee maximum water tightness while causing less wear and loss. Floods such as those experienced in September 2006 have since been avoided since the installation was completed.
