Eco HydroPac systems consist of 1 to 6 Grundfos pumps, CR pumps vertically assembled or CM pumps installed horizontally. Hydraulic components are made of stainless steel. These pumps offer efficiencies up to 80 %, thus considerably reducing the energy needed to maintain a constant pressure in a hydraulic system. The HydroPac systems are factory assembled, programmed and tested to eliminate possible commissionning problems.
Design
HydroPac systems use only high quality stainless steel components which virtually eliminates the need for maintenance. Variable speed drives on each motor optimises energy savings while eliminating water hammers. A programmable controller integrates advanced functions such as adjusting the pressure or
speed of each pump depending on their state, for a better efficiency. The controller can also save system warnings and alarms in real-time. Remote communication via internet, smartphones or radio frequency is also available.
The TEFC motors are certified NEMA Premium. They are specially designed for variable speed operation and to resist axial forces developped by the pumps. The controller and frequency converters are integrated into the motor or installed in a casing pre-assembled with the system. Detection sensors and protection against dry-running are installed on each unit.
