Pumpaction represents Putzmeister Solid Pumps, manufacturer of piston pumps for industrial solids handling applications, in Canada as well as in the United States. We have specialists in these systems located in Pointe-Claire, Val-d’Or and Pittsburgh.

These systems serve to pump products too thick for most standard pumps. Municipalities use them for the handling of post water treatment sludge, or for the removal of detritus accumulated on grates prior to primary treatment. Our systems also prove their worth in mining applications for the handling of tailings backfill, whether on surface or underground.

We provide solutions for a large number of applications where displacement of thick materials is needed. To do so, we offer a trial service to help evaluate whether or not certain materials can be handled by our various pumps and systems.
